Operate time and leave workflows

Review time and leave operations in the tenant workspace, then use policy configuration and controlled exception workflows for HR and Admin responsibilities.

Intended audience

  • Admin
  • HR
  • Manager

Where to find it

Dashboard → Leave, Attendance, or Leave settings.

Before you start

  • Operational views and configuration pages vary by role; policy rules, attendance sources, and approval flows are tenant-configured.

Steps

  1. 1

    Review the operational record

Open the relevant leave or attendance view and identify the period, employee, and workflow state before taking an action.

  2. 2

Use policy controls only when assigned

HR and Admin users can open the configured policy settings when their role allows it; managers should use their scoped operational workflow instead.

  3. 3

    Handle exceptions through the workflow

Use the configured request, regularization, or escalation path so a change is auditable and reaches the correct approver.

Expected result

Time and leave activity is reviewed or updated through the correct tenant policy and workflow without broadening access beyond the assigned role.

These destinations are verified against the current product navigation or route record. They remain subject to sign-in, feature, tenant, role, and data-scope checks.

Common problems

An attendance or leave exception cannot be completed.

Check the applicable policy window, owner, and approval path. Escalate with the specific employee, date, and request ID rather than changing unrelated records.
